Reflecting on 2019
HIS Sign flew higher than ever before in 2019! This picture from our “Guys Day Out” at iFly (see more photos of the HIS Sign Team in the article “It’s a Wrap“) reflects that perspective. Time has also flown by and here we are at the jumping point of 2020!
Listed below are some of the Highlights at HIS Sign in 2019:
- In June we published our first HIS Sign Happenings Newsletter!
- We migrated our phone system from Line2® to RingCentral®.
- The HIS Sign Scheduling team took on Off-Hours Support to improve the handling of your off-hour needs.
- We rolled out a new Responsive Website to make it easier for you to access our customer resources on ALL of your devices.
- We supported Interpreter Licensure in Maryland with the goal to increase the overall quality of interpreters.
- We adjusted our Interpreter Screening Process to improve our ability to measure the quality of our interpreter applicants and to improve their placement.
- In addition to hiring our Staff Interpreter, Joshua Chung, we implemented a “Guaranteed Hours” program to help us improve our ability to serve our customers.
- The creation of “Specialty Pools”. We have noticed that many of our customers have unique compliance needs for receiving services such as background checks, clearances and other requirements. We are increasing the number of interpreters who are compliant and able to fulfill your needs.
- We expanded our ability to fill jobs around the country by creating partnerships with interpreters and other agencies.
Overall, 2019 was an exciting year of growth as we added 106 new customers and pushed our weekly hour average up to almost 1,000 hours/week, all while working to meet your needs and to exceed your expectations.
